Digital Memberships
The BCAClub is now part of Clubmate.
- New members: Please create a new Clubmate account to sign up
- On going returning members: If this is your first time renewing though Clubmate, you will have to make a new account to continue. Otherwise click "already got an account" and you just login.
You can pay for your membership through Clubmates own online system or you can contact the BCAClub to pay for the membership via BACS.
You will get notified of when your renewal is due and have access to the app for tablet and mobile to be able to take a digital copy of your membership and updated rulebook at any time.
Galgate News - Barnard Castle
If you still want a physical version of your membership, this is now located at Galgate News in Barnard Castle.
You will be asked to fill in the new membership form.

Environmental Agency Rod Licence
Yes you must have a Environmental Agency Rod Licence as well as a BCAClub membership or a day pass to be able to fish on the Barnard Castle section of the Tees . These documents must be with you at all times as surprise checks can be carried out at any time.

Rod Licences come in two different types and which one you need depends on the type of fish your catching:
- Non-migratory trout, char, freshwater (coarse) fish, smelts and eels
and the other for
- Salmon and migratory (sea) trout and non-migratory trout, char, freshwater (coarse) fish, smelt and eels.
Please make sure you get the correct licence as penalties are high if you mistakenly get the wrong one.
These licences can also be bought for the whole season for:
Adults,
Senior (65+ or disabled),
Juniors (13 – 16),
Children (under 12)
As well as Day / Week Passes.

Fishing Tuition
Fly Fishing Yorkshire offers fly fishing tuition in and around Yorkshire and Co Durham.
As a company, we are well established and proven to provide the highest quality fly fishing tuition for everybody, whether it is your first time or you are an experienced angler we offer a truly bespoke service at all times and we also provide lessons for trout fishing and salmon fishing, fly fishing experiences and corporate fly fishing days. We are also fortunate to personally have 3 small rivers offered out as fly fishing syndicates, and our own 5 acre trout lake.
As of 2020 Fly Fishing Yorkshire has taken the decision to become a "Catch and Release" company only. We stand proud to promote conservation and protect our wild fish stocks, and we pride ourselves on being the first company to do so.

TCR Hub Carp Fishing



PLEASE CALL TWO DAYS AHEAD OF YOUR FISHING DAY!
The Barnard Castle Angling Club is proud to say that we are now connected to the TCR Hub.
The Hub has kindly said that the club is able to use the water,
To be able to fish you must have
• A valid yearly membership as part of the club
• A environmental agency license
These must be shown at reception when you pay for your day.
• You must have your own equipment as none can be provided
•The Hub ponds will be open for all fisherman not just people from the club so if you have friends and family that would like to join you, then you are welcome.
• It is recommended to tell The Hub 2 days in advance of you going fishing to make sure there is nothing booked on the ponds.

It is £10 for the day for an Adult and £3 a day for Concessions.
The ponds are totally disabled access friendly and there are two large ponds that can be used. Disabled friendly facilities are also available and the club is able to use the café as well.

Anyone seen breaking the rules will be banned from the premises.
